Sonetto means sonnet, a form of short poem. Sonetto was made famous by William Shakespear, but created by a 13th century Florentine poet, Giacomo da Lentini, during the infancy of the renaissance period.
William Shakespeare said, “All the world’s a stage, and all men and women
merely players.” At Play and newly created Sonetto Italian Restaurant, we
embrace our roles to both entertain and educate while providing a genuine
customer experience. Our goal is to create a mini escape from day-to-day life while
highlighting exquisite Italian cuisine, extraordinary wines, and a majestic,
unobstructed, world class view of the Skaha Lake and surrounding mountains.
We invite you to join us and taste what the future holds for Sonetto at Play. We appreciate your support as we continue to build a place that reflects the essence of the Okanagan Valley.
